MGCP Symbology
Overview:
This document standardises marks and symbols used to portray Real World Objects on topographic maps. This includes:
- symbol rules and samples (for selection of a symbol to portray Real World Objects)
- label rules (that increase reader’s comprehension of a symbol)
- symbol specifications (that control the visual appearance of symbols)
- specific portrayal guidance for all elements of map presentation
