DIGEST Metadata
Overview:
This standard enables optimisation of technological configuration setting(s) for exchange of ISO-compatible metadata with legacy systems.
It is based on:
- DIGEST (DIgital Geographic Information Exchange STandard)
- ISO 19115: provides the structure and definitions for geospatial metadata at dataset, feature and attribute levels
- ISO 19139: XML schemas for implementing ISO 19115
